The first video showcases the harsh weather that Lara will face on her perilous journey, to find the secret of immortality. Not only is the environment and mother nature against her, but she will also find resistance from an organisation called Trinity. The video gives a quick run down of the plot points for Rise of the Tomb Raider, setting up the narrative. What we also learn is that Lara can now help strangers and natives that she encounters, and can unlock new areas and gain experience from completing tasks for them. An interesting addition.
The hub worlds, or locations you will come across in Rise of the Tomb Raider will also be two to three times the size of the locations found in 2013’s Tomb Raider, making this year’s adventure massive in comparison.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10th (US) and 13th (EU), followed by a PC release in spring of next year, and a late 2016 release on PlayStation 4.
