Rumoured for weeks and now finally confirmed, Rise of the Tomb Raider has received a release date for Windows PC. Releasing in the same week of Fallout 4 on Xbox One and 360, the game may have suffered on the sales front at the time, but those who have played it, speak highly of it. Will the PC version be successful this month?
Mark January 28th on your calendar, when Lara Croft will start her second journey in the rebooted series. Not only will it be the same game when it makes the switch, but it will also support 4K resolution if your computer can handle it.
“The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Scot Amos, Co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be the first game ever to include cutting-edge VXAO technology, developed in partnership with NVIDIA.
