Resident Evil Origins Collection announced

resident evil origins collectionResident Evil seems to be going back to its roots, with the HD remaster of REmake released some time ago for last and current gen consoles as well as PC. Another HD remaster in the works is Resident Evil Zero HD and a Resident Evil 2 remake recently announced, Capcom seems intent on reliving the days of the old school Resident Evil.

The latest announcement is Resident Evil Origins Collection, a disc compilation that includes Resident Evil Remake HD and Resident Evil Zero HD, for PS4 and Xbox One. It’s due for release on January 22nd for Europe and January 19th for North America.

It’s worth noting that the HD remaster of RE: Zero, being developed for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC still doesn’t have an exact release date other than “Early 2016”, which means that according to this, I predict that we’ll probably get it around January.

Another feature announced for Resident Evil Zero is “Wesker Mode”, where you can play as Albert Wesker, one of  Resident Evil main antagonists, he even has powers!
