Insomniac Games’ Ratchet and Clank remaster looks out of this world, literally. A new trailer was shown off yesterday during the Paris Games Week presentation, and the visuals are as gorgeous as you would have hoped. Revitalising an old classic, and bundling in a bunch of weapons and features added in later games, this is one you will want to add to your collection, again.
“You’ll see brand new footage of both Pokitaru, home of the galaxy’s legendary vacation resort, and the all-new Clank gameplay. There are a lot of other great shots in this trailer for those who are paying attention, from more ship gameplay to a “Squishy” version of Dr. Nefarious. If you’re familiar with the 2002 PS2 game, it should be clear at this point that there is much new in the PS4 experience that ties in with the film’s re-telling of the duo’s origin story.”
Ratchet and Clank will also be making its way to the big screen, coming out alongside the revamped game in the spring of 2016. The characters will be voiced by an all-star cast of Sylvester Stallone, John Goodman, Paul Giamatti, Bella Throne and Rosario Dawson. You can see the trailer for that below.
