The Pokémon GO Plus is a small device that lets you enjoy Pokémon GO while you’re on the move and not looking at your smartphone. The device connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth low energy and notifies you about events in the game such as the appearance of a Pokémon nearby or whenever you’re within range of a PokéStop by blinking and vibrating.
The #PokemonGO Plus accessory will arrive in Sept. instead of the originally expected end of July. Thanks for your patience, Trainers!

The device is said to be $34.99 in the US, while it will be priced at £34.99 in the UK upon release, while some chancers online are already trying to sell it for over $100 on ebay. I am anticipating a few weeks or months of stock shortages for the device, similar to the Amiibo situation that plagued fans over the last couple of years. Let’s hope Niantic and The Pokémon Company can satisfy demand while Pokémon GO is still a hot topic.
