PlayStation Now launches in the UK

PlayStation NowPlayStation fans in the UK can now access PlayStation Now, the PlayStation streaming service that started rolling out last year. For the price of £12.99 a month, PlayStation gamers can now stream games to their console, Netflix style.

PlayStation Now is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, select Sony 2015 TVs, select Sony Blu-ray Players, and select Samsung Smart TVs. It is advised that you have at least 5MB of steady broadband speed for the games to function properly, as well as access to a Dualshock controller (if you don’t already have a PlayStation console). To encourage you to try it out, Sony are offering a free 7 day trial, which you can avail of here or through the PlayStation Store on your console.

The list will certainly grow in time, but overall, there are 400 games available via the PlayStation Now service, with only 100 available at launch for the UK. Available to play as of today are The Last of Us, BioShock Infinite, Ultra Street Fighter IV, The Walking Dead and God of War 3 and more.

Let us know, does the service interest you? Will you be giving it a chance with your 7 day free trial?
