Charming third person shooter Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has officially joined the selection of EA titles available to play with an EA Access subscription. Meaning if you have a subscription to EA’s famous streaming service on Xbox One, you can now play PvZ: Garden Warfare 2, essentially for free.
We’ve already been pretty extensive on how we feel about the value EA Access represents, so we won’t be going into too much detail regarding that. But we’re always going to get excited about a new game being added to the vault, especially when it’s one as good as Garden Warfare 2, which stole our hearts back when it was released in February.
However one of its key shortfalls is its lack of appeal to the older generation of gamers, and it’s easy to see why when you see the game in action. But what it lacks in realism and competitiveness it more than makes up for in sheer fun. PvZ: Garden Warfare is a fantastic game which can easily be enjoyed by all ages, I’ve spent a lot of hours playing both Garden Warfare titles and honestly, you’re not going to want to miss out on the chance to experience them.
I guess in that respect this is a bit of an appeal to all the gamers out there with an EA Access subscription. Don’t overlook PvZ because of the way it looks, the game deserves a chance to also win your heart and now it’s in the vault, there really is no better time to take advantage of what you’re paying for and experience what I believe will be one of the all time greats of this generation.
