This week on the PlayStation Blog’s store updates, a listing of No Man’s Sky appeared briefly in the Pre-Order section, which was soon removed by Sony. It was dated for ‘3/3’, obviously meaning the 3rd of March, this Thursday. Will fans have an opportunity to pre-order the title, or was this just a mistake?
The listing at least confirmed a pricing, and the game will set you back $60 which you would have probably expected for the interstellar flight and exploration sim. We still don’t have a solid release date, other than a supposed June release window, but even that can change. The listing which has now been taken down can be seen below in the image.
Last summer, the game’s developer and spokesperson, fellow Irishman Sean Murray said “I guess there’s two things, when the release date is, but also when we announce that date. We can’t announce the date right now, because of things that are not entirely in our control, but honestly for good reasons. It’ll be announced as soon as we can.”
Let’s hope we hear more about No Man’s Sky soon enough, as it’s been a while since our last official update.
