It seems like a long time ago that I was moaning about No Man’s Sky getting delayed on PC resulting in a day off that I had booked off from work especially being used instead to clean my garage out. So finally the day is upon us (PC users anyway) and there’s good news and bad news. The Good news is that No Man’s Sky will finally be releasing on PC today , you don’t need a super computer to run it either. And the Bad news? well, read on for the bad news.
After a slight delay No Man’s Sky finally releases on PC today but if you’re in the UK you’ll have to wait until 6PM (BST) or for those of you across the pond, 10am (West Coast US) and 1pm for their East Coast neighbours. Unfortunately Hello games have also stated that pre-loading will not be an option so you’ll also have to wait for the game to download ( however long it takes to download approx. 2.6gb on your connection) before you can get cracking.
No Man’s Sky released on PS4 earlier in the week and seems to be doing rather well at living up to expectation so far. I’m certainly looking forward to jumping into the game and seeing how it lives up to my own expectations.
There’s been a few bugs and glitches which is to be expected and Hello games have asked for patience whilst they work on patches for them. One such issue can occur with the pre-order bonus ship as it allows you to skip part of the tutorial offering the blueprint for how to build a hyperdrive, an absolutely essential item in the game. If you trade for a ship without a hyperdrive and don’t have a blueprint to build one you could be searching for a very long time before acquiring the required recipe. Our advice is to go through the standard tutorial to get the hyperdrive blueprint before switching to the better ship.
So are you enjoying the game or are you sat at your PC like me waiting for 7PM to come?
