New PlayStation 4 peripherals and accessories revealed

PlayStation 4 playstation foreverWith new consoles, comes new peripherals, and following the unveiling of Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro, the company have also revealed some new hardware that you can pick up alongside your new console this holiday.

First up on the menu, is the mainstay of any console. A new Dualshock controller. The new DualShock 4 supports USB communication 3 as well as the current Bluetooth. A slight change to the light bar allows some colour to seep into the touch pad as well. Whether you like that light or not will determine your interest in that feature. It will have a price tag of around £54.

Secondly, we have the return of the PlayStation Camera. Previously rumoured from a few weeks back, this camera is practically necessary for those who want to make the most of PlayStation VR. It will cost the same as a Dualshock controller, and it doesn’t look too bad, does it?

playstation camera 2Finally, Sony have revealed a new premium headset, and with premium comes a higher price tag. You can expect enhanced, positional 7.1 virtual surround sound, multi-position, hidden noise-cancelling microphones for clearer chat and works with all existing PlayStation 4 consoles. In fact, all of the above gear works across the PlayStation 4 range.
