Opening the EA Gamescom conference was the returning street racer, Need for Speed. Going back to its roots, Need for Speed will see you step into the shoes of an up and coming street racer, who wants to make a name for himself. Do this by impressing the five top dogs in various disciplines.
Whether it’s style, customisation and tuning, high speed or the cop dodging outlaw, Need for Speed will offer you many ways of experiencing the game, and let you pick and choose how you approach the narrative. The cinematics are all shot from first person, with the actors making you feel like you’re in the room with them, interacting with them, and giving you advice on how to progress. Meet established motoring stars such as Ken Block, Magnus Walker and Nakai San. Impress each of them, and progress up the ranks, unlocking new challenges and rides.
What’s awesome about the new cinematics is that the car you choose to buy and customise yourself will appear in all scenes in the garage. Whether it’s matte black or hot pink, your motor will feature in-game, bringing it more to life, and getting you more involved.
Need for Speed will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 3, 2015.
