Moto Racer, a series which has graced PC and PlayStation since as early as 1997, looks set to be making its way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next year. The series is an arcade bike racer, which features closed track racing and open street racing.
Later games in the series introduced motocross events and traffic events, seeing you race against friends and AI on busy streets, Road Rash style, without the combat. The series has been running for a long time, with follow up titles such as Moto Racer 2, Moto Racer World Tour, Moto Racer 3, Moto Racer Advance and Moto Racer DS.
Moto Racer 4 will be powered by Unreal Engine 4, and is being developed by Artefacts Studio, who aim to remain true to the series’ roots while offering a “unique graphical style”. Microïds, the publisher, will be attending Gamescom this week, so hopefully we’ll see Moto Racer 4 in action. Below, you can see a gameplay clip of Moto Racer 3.
