More on Mass Effect Andromeda Later in the Year

Mass Effect AndromedaWe didn’t get to see much on the next Mass Effect game during its reveal¬†at EA’s E3 Press Conference, but worry not as we will be getting more details on the game later in the year.

Currently, Mass Effect Andromeda is expected for release late 2016, so it was already likely that they will fill us in more soon enough. One thing we do know is that we won’t be in the milky way galaxy no more, but our neighbor galaxy Andromeda, as you might have guessed from the name. It also takes place a long long time after the events of the original trilogy.

The announcement that we will be getting more news later in the year came from the official Mass Effect Twitter account.

If you are someone who has not played the originals, It does not look like this will be too heavy on info from them. If you are hoping to play them on your Xbox One or PS4 though it is very unlikely we will be seeing any remasters anytime soon as EA said that they have no plans to invest in remasters for current gen hardware.

What are your thoughts though? Disappointed that we didn’t get more Andromeda last week, or would you rather wait until it is nearer to completion? Let us know in the comments!
