Dying Light, the open world free-running zombie survival game which has proven to be a hit in 2015, just keeps getting better. Developer Techland, have announced that an expansion pack for the game is set to be revealed behind closed doors at Gamescom in Germany this year.
“We’re really excited to finally be able to show this major project we’ve been secretly working on since the release of the game,” said Dying Light producer Tymon Smektala.
“This is Dying Light from a totally new angle, but with everything fans love about the original still at the core.”
A new trailer highlighting all of the currently available DLC has also been released by Techland. At the end of the trailer, there is a very short teaser for what’s to come with the expansion pack. You can’t complain about value for money, when it comes to Dying Light.
Techland and Dying Light were also very quick in mocking Activision and Red Bull, when they announced a partnership between the energy drink and Destiny. Techland made water their product of choice, and offered fans free downloadable content for sharing pictures of them drinking water on Twitter. Dying Light is also worth checking out for its amazing easter eggs, such as the Mario pipe and level, along with a nod to Destiny’s famed loot cave.
