Mojang and 4J Studios have a freakishly good DLC pack available now for Minecraft. The Halloween Mash-Up Pack includes a bunch of new content to sink your teeth into, and a ghoulish trailer to show it all off.
“Not only does this pack include a whopping 43 skins, a creepy texture pack you can apply to your other Minecraft worlds and ghostly music, it comes with an entire world that’s guaranteed to scare you senseless. Well, that’s not actually true, but it is kinda freaky. There’s even a rollercoaster that you and your friends can ride on as many times as you like for no additional charge. The ride doesn’t feature boring things like height restrictions or tickets, you’ll be happy to hear. The skins on offer have something of an old-school Halloween vibe. Here are some examples: Grim Reaper, Bride of Frankenstein, Wicked Witch, Tree Face, Mad Doctor, Swamp Monster and, of course, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. As with all our packs, you’ll be able to download a few of them for free.”
The Halloween Mashup pack is available this Friday, October 23rd, on all console versions of Minecraft and costs $3.99.
Pocket Edition and Windows 10 players are getting something equally special to celebrate Halloween.
“This year’s pack is more about dressing up as your favourite mob – it’s kinda like your Minecraft avatar is about to head out for a trick or treating session, just like you might do on October 30th.
I think this is one of the most creative skin packs we’ve done so far. I hope you enjoy it too!
There are 15 skins in total, and it costs a $0.99 or equivalent. And, hey – even if you don’t download the whole thing everyone can download the Iron Golem and Zombie costumes for free.”
