Mass Effect trilogy joins Origin Access

Mass Effect TrilogyWe could have easily turned this into a clickbait post by saying ‘Mass Effect trilogy comes to EA Access…on PC’, but we won’t. Not like Destructoid! Cheeky buggers. Sadly, the PC version of EA Access called Origin Access now contains the Mass Effect trilogy. Xbox One players may just have to wait.

Although good news ensues with the fact that Deus Ex: Human Revolution became backwards compatible a few weeks back, making it the first multi-disc title to run on the Xbox feature, so take that as a sign of things to come. Both Mass Effect 2 and 3 require two discs of installs before they can be played on the Xbox 360, so they could be announced at E3.

Still though, I could do with a remastered trilogy; a collection that would sit at the forefront of my proud gaming collection. Despite how things may have ended up in Mass Effect 3, I sum it all up with ‘it’s all about the journey, not the destination’. The trilogy was a fantastic adventure and I felt like I befriended those AI characters with their amazing personalities.

Let’s hope we see a nice chunk of Mass Effect: Andromeda at E3 in the meantime, eh?
