Mass Effect Andromeda editor leaves Bioware

Mass Effect Andromeda biowareAnother twist in the tale has come at Bioware as it is being reported that a third member of staff is leaving the development team of Mass Effect Andromeda. Not only is the individual leaving the studio, but she is also leaving the games industry behind her.

Cameron Harris, an editor at Bioware who works in conjunction with writers, designers and content creators was working on Mass Effect Andromeda, but wishes to move to a new location and start a career elsewhere, outside of the games industry.

According to Gamespot, Miss Harris has a very colourful past, and one to be proud of. “At BioWare, she worked on Andromeda, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Before joining BioWare, Harris worked at Microsoft on projects including Gears of War 3, Fable: The Journey, and Crimson Dragon.”

Back in December, the game’s Senior Development Director also jumped ship to pursue work elsewhere, while in February, followed by the lead writer leaving the developer for Bungie in February. News reports like this worry the massive Mass Effect fan in me, with the game now delayed until early 2017 instead of holiday 2016. Let’s hope we hear about or witness some upbeat news about the fate of the game soon.
