The Nintendo Switch event is soon to arrive, where we will learn a lot more about the upcoming Nintendo console, but it looks like a little bit of info has already slipped out. According to a tweet by EB Games in Australia, the re-release of Mario Kart 8 will be bolstered with loads of new features on the latest platform.
The screenshot features a sticker detailing an ‘All NEW Battle Mode’, 24 extra tracks to race on, and 10 brand new characters to race as. It’s a shame that it’s not an entirely new Mario Kart title, but with Mario Kart 8 being such a huge success, building on it with new features and added modes isn’t too bad of a deal. Now if it’s offered cheaper to those who already own the Wii U or 3DS version, that would be a nice gesture.
Man if this turns out to be real for Mario Kart my boy it is time to be hyped! pic.twitter.com/XJBWHADdwx
