If you thought that playing Octodad was a challenge, just wait until you check out Manual Samuel from Curve Digital and Perfectly Paranormal. Upon death, Samuel chooses to try surviving 24 hours of manual body functions. That means each of your sticks, buttons, triggers and clicks, depending on your preference of gaming, will maneuver Samuel. Good luck!
“Manual Samuel tells of the adventure of two unlikely friends on an epic journey of and for a lifetime.
After his untimely demise Sam is given a choice by Death:
Be tortured in hell for all eternity
Live 24 hours manually.
With a choice like that how could Sam refuse the latter.”
From breathing, blinking and urinating (!), to driving and working, all these tasks will fall to you. There is also an additional local co-op mode, so you and a buddy or loved one can both struggle laughingly to control Samuel. A time attack mode will let you compare times across the levels with your friends. This should be hilarious in a room full of people, taking turns!
Manual Samuel developed by Perfectly Paranormal and published by Curve Digital will be released on the 11th of October for PlayStation 4. And the 14th of October for Xbox One and Steam.
