Zombie survival action game Left 4 Dead 2 has become the latest title to be made available on the Xbox One’s Backwards Compatibility list. The 4 player co-op shooter from Valve and Turtle Rock is ready to install and play if you own a copy digitally or on disc.
On Monday, we were greeted with three new additions to the backwards compatibility list, and with yesterday’s announcement of Left 4 Dead 2, that should make fans extremely happy. Left 4 Dead 2 is considered a classic, and rightly so. Fighting your way through hordes of zombies along with three other players can create a solid foundation of friendship and trust, and with Left 4 Dead 2 being so tough at times, it can take a few runs to get through the finale.

Left 4 Dead 2 included a more varied selection of close combat weapons and more modes for players to enjoy. The missions were more varied than the original game, and the finales are all fantastic, stressful situations. I can see this getting a lot of play in the coming weeks, and hopefully some new fans can jump in for the for the first time and experience the thrill of its set pieces. This is a good day!
