Yesterday, August 20th, Squad announced that Kerbal Space Program would be coming to Xbox One. Available on PC, and coming to PlayStation 4 already, Kerbal Space Program allows players to create and manage their own space program. Build spacecraft, fly them, and try to help the Kerbals to fulfill their ultimate mission of conquering space.
The Xbox One version of the game will be developed by Flying Tiger, and it is reported that the console version won’t include the PC’s traditional mod support. While fans on PC also question the controller interface, we image that Flying Tiger and Squad will be able to work it out.
The game is mainly a trial and error experience, as you attempt to get the Kerbals into space. They will die in the process, but you will learn as you go, and the feeling of accomplishment is second to none. No specific release date or further details have been revealed, but overall, this is good news for all on Xbox One.
Kerbal Space Program released in April of this year for PC, and currently holds a review score of 88 on Metacritic, all of which are positive reviews from the gaming media.
