On Thursday night, Kanye West was livestreaming his newest album The Life of Pablo, and fans who were involved got the opportunity to see his new video game project too. Entitled Only One, the game is about his mother traveling through heaven.
The trailer is rather indie-ish in first inspection, and there’s no defining signs of how the game will play out. Whether you will control a character’s movements on screen or if it’s a point and click kind of game, we don’t know. Platform releases are still unknown but it’s highly likely that it will be a mobile app for both iOS and Android, but that’s just a guess at this point.
Kanye claims that game developers all over San Francisco were turning down the opportunity to make a game for him, according to Kotaku who would also like to know who these developers were, if what he says is true.
“No, you don’t understand. I go out and meet with everybody in San Fran, and they’ll diss the fuck out of me. And I’ll be like, ‘I wanna make a game,’ and they’ll be like, ‘FUCK YOU.’ That was hard to do, bro!”
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any further updates about his game.
