With only a few days until Just Cause 3’s release, many reviewers and personalities already have their hands on the title, and PlayStation Access give us a small idea just how big the game is as they travel the length of the map in a new 20 minute video.
The game takes place on the fictional islands of Medici, which is said to be a massive 400 square kilometres. Believe it or not, that’s actually not much bigger than the Just Cause 2 map, however reports suggest that the map is far denser, meaning there’s far more to check out.
Game Director Roland Lesterlin said:
“Just Cause 2 was already enormous. We really wanted to focus now on density and the feel of the world itself. So we didn’t necessarily just have to do increased land mass. But we have certainly gone a lot bigger when it comes to density of the world. And now it’s not just on top of the world–we also have caves and tunnels and all sorts of stuff there, too.”
YouTube personality John Bain, aka TotalBiscuit, also got his hands on the game, and has been streaming the game on his Twitch channel. However, if you missed the stream he uploaded a video moments ago showing the game in action with some of the funny moments in the stream.
The game looks like a huge amount of fun, and I for one can’t wait to get my hands on it. What about you? Are you a fan of the older games? Let us know in the comments!
