Yes, Jack the Ripper will be coming to Assassin’s Creed! OK, I’ll admit. I am one of the first people to complain about season passes, and advertising DLC before the base game is released. But if there was one way to sell me Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate and its DLC, it’d be this
The DLC was announced at the Tokyo Game Show and will not actuall tie in with events of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Instead the DLC takes place 20 years after the events of the main game’s story and will be set during the Autumn of Terror in Whitechapel, London. Players “will join forces with Inspector Frederick Abberline of Scotland Yard to hunt down Jack the Ripper in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the infamous serial killer.”
The DLC comes as part of the Season Pass but will also be available to buy on its own. The Season Pass seems to have a fairly decent amount of content, but I feel like this is the star of the show so far. But we will have to wait and see.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate releases on Xbox One and PS4 on October 23, and on PC a little bit later on November 19. Has this DLC piqued your interest? Let us know!
