Halo 5 Guardians content continues to roll out this week, with the latest update being Ghosts of Meridian. Due this week, the new content will bring a new map for each of the game modes, as well as new REQ items for fans to start unlocking.
Ghosts of Meridian will include maps, vehicles, weapons, skins, armors, emblems, and more. 343 Industries have also listened closely to feedback from the players, and the update will also include a wealth of fixes and changes including “multiplayer updates and fixes, sandbox, weapon, and vehicle adjustments, improvements to REQ Station UI performance, a lengthy list of Forge additions, fixes, and improvements, SWAT DMRs as well as a rebalance of SWAT game types within the playlist and more.”
- New Warzone map – Skirmish at Darkstar. Though Liang-Dortmund’s local headquarters at Meridian Station was devastated, the remote polar outpost of Darkstar Station survived. But anomalies abound beneath the battered surface as ancient machinery buried deep in the planet’s mantle stir to life, including an all-new boss.
- New Arena map – Tyrant. The facility known as Site C by human explorers is one of a handful of intact Forerunner structures remaining in the Zeta Hydronis Secundus system, a grim reminder that even godlike artifice can be undone by the minds and hands of mad tyrants. The small-scale symmetrical map is built for Capture the Flag and Assault game modes.
- New REQs items. A slew of brand new REQs are arriving with Ghosts of Meridian, including Tartarus’ Gavel, a Legendary gravity hammer that unleashes kinetic explosions with each swing, and boosts movement speed, shield strength, and jump height.
The Ghosts of Meridian is another free update as promised by 343 Industries and once available, it will download and install automatically on your console.
