Last year, Telltale Games revealed that they will be working with Marvel to bring more of its story-telling adventures to superhero fans. We all guessed and made assumptions, but thanks to the recent video game voice actors strike, some new revelations have been discovered. It looks like their upcoming title will be one set in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe.
As posted by Comicbookmovies.com, “As part of a recent strike by members of SAG-AFTRA, a voice acting union, as part of a tactic to negotiate better wages across the industry, the ogranization released a list of games that currently did not have struck new deals. Among the list is a game titled Guardians Of The Galaxy- The Video Game aka Blue Harvest, attributed to “O’Farrel Enterprises, LLC”. The same company is listed below the Guardians entry as also developing the third season of one of Telltale’s largest franchises, The Walking Dead.”
Back in April of last year, Marvel and Telltale made the announcement, saying a game will release in 2017
“We’ve been busy,” Executive Producer Jones said before announcing the partnership last year. “It takes a long time to find the right partner. We have one special game we’re excited about.”
“If it doesn’t turn heads, if it doesn’t get you excited to talk with your friends, it’s not a Marvel game. It has to command attention,” Jones explained.
