We’ve seen a lot of great stuff come out of Gamescom this year, but there does seem to be a handful of games that the fans just can’t get enough of. Halo 5: Guardians is definitely one of those games and fans have had the opportunity to get their hands on it as we get closer and closer to the day of release. Here we have a 15 minute, full length video featuring the game mode, Warzone, 343 Industries’ idea of the classic “Big Team Battle” mode made better, with objectives, intense 12-player team head to head style Spartan on Spartan combat with additional AI enemies, vehicles and huge scale maps, in traditional Halo fashion.
Gamesradar are responsible for bringing you the footage having got their hands on Halo 5: Guardians during Gamescom 2015. If you’re a fan of the Halo series, we urge you to check out this footage:
Speaking from the perspective of a MASSIVE Halo fan, this does look pretty amazing, all the elements of the classic Halo experience still look very much in-tact and all of those additional features seem to help keep the fast-pace consistent throughout. 343 Industries really do have a lot to live up to however following a mix reception back when Halo 4 was launched on the Xbox 360. More recently Halo: The Master Chief Collection completely flopped when it launched with multiple, game-breaking issues.
A lot has changed since then and Microsoft and 343 Industries seem to have won back the support of the Halo community with what they’ve shown so far. Still we’d like to hear what you, the 4-One Gaming community have to say, we know we have some Halo fans among our ranks. From what you’ve seen so far, do you think 343 Industries are taking Halo in a positive direction? What do you think they need to do with Halo 5: Guardians to maintain the support of the community?
