Probably the most unexpected announcement at EA E3 conference, it seems the next installment in the FIFA series, FIFA 17, will have its own Story Mode known as ‘The Journey’. In The Journey, gamers will play as rising Football/Soccer star Alex Hunter in any of the Premier League clubs alongside various famous players.
Not much is known at the moment, the trailer showcases our protagonist playing for Manchester United, as well as meeting various managers and living the ups and downs of being a professional football player. EA confirmed that all Premier League teams will be available to play for, so it’s not just Man Utd. EA Canada are also involved with the project, who are responsible for Mass Effect. Think Mass Effect dialogue options with FIFA maybe?
In addition to The Journey, EA also announced that FIFA 17 will feature four Premier League managers, including Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho.
