FIFA is one of those franchises that you either buy religiously every year, or you tend to avoid. You know whether you want to get onboard, or whether you want to pass on it. Still, a demo is always welcome, and helps show off the new features, to tease you into picking it up like everyone else!
The demo for FIFA 16 releases on all platforms (minus the Nintendo ones) on September 8th, and offers a nice selection of modes to try your hand at, to help win you over this season. To start off, you’ll be automatically thrown into a kick off match as always, between Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona.
FIFA Ultimate Team Draft, which was shown off at Gamescom in Germany this year, will also be featured in the demo. As shown in the reveal video below, you build up a dream team squad and face off against another player. The demo version will only allow for offline play however. Still, we get to see what it’s all about.
The demo also lets you play as 10 different clubs, as well as two women’s international sides, which is new to the FIFA series. They include:
- FC Barcelona
- Borussia Dortmund
- Borussia Mönchengladbach
- Chelsea FC
- Inter Milan
- Manchester City
- Paris Saint-Germain
- Real Madrid CF
- River Plate
- Seattle Sounders
The Women’s National Teams are Germany and United States.
FIFA 16 releases on September 22nd.
