When you think of gaming, it’s not often that farming is the first experience you conjure up in your mind. However, with over 5 million players across PC and consoles, Farming Simulator by Giants Software has proven to be a success, and an adored series. Now it’s time for Farming Simulator 17.
The CGI trailer unveiled this week revealed some of the new prestigious brands that are joining the farming frenzy in this installment. They include Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra. With more than 60 brands and 200 vehicles faithfully reproduced, Farming Simulator 17 offers a complete simulation filled with a vast range of content.
Farming Simulator 17 will include a new environment, new vehicles, a new animal to breed, and new gameplay mechanics that increase the game’s richness and depth. As dull as that sounds to hardcore shooter fans (who might not even read this), this is certainly good news. As someone who invested in Farming Simulator 15 last year for the first time, it’s great to be part of that community and witness the negativity thrown at virtual farmers. However, the gameplay experience is addictive, and co-op farming with friends is the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon….or a Friday night!
“Among the many new features to be announced in the coming months for Farming Simulator 17, we are happy to unveil that modding support—which is exceptionally popular on PC—is making its grand debut on consoles! With Farming Simulator 17, all the players will be able to download content created by the passionate community of Farming Simulator players, including vehicles, animals, scenery elements and much more, opening up the possibilities of an ever-evolving Farming Simulator 17 experience.”
Farming Simulator 17 will plow its way onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC simultaneously at the end of 2016.
