Ah, life on the farm. It doesn’t get any more relaxing. With the wind blowing gently, country music playing on the radio of your tractor as you harvest your latest crop of corn before selling it off to buyers. Such a pleasant, easy going experience, right? Well…
Farming is difficult. Farming Simulator 17’s trailers may give off the impression that the work is easy, relaxing and charming. It is not. It’s grueling, it’s time consuming, but at the end of the day, it is rewarding. Tending to animals, cultivating your fields prior to sowing new crops or seeds, then fertilizing them, and watching them flourish before harvesting them. It’s all in a day’s work in Farming Simulator 17.
Two new trailers have been released today, with the first one showing an overview of the lovely fictional town of Goldcrest. Remember, it’s all propaganda. It’s a lot harsher than it seems!!!
The second trailer features a more upbeat background track, and shows you all about tipping. Yes, tipping. Using shovels, conveyor belts and loaders are your routes to success, but you won’t start off on your farm with the best gear and machinery. You will have to start at the bottom and work your way up. Sell off your crop, buy new machinery, trade in your old equipment, and watch out for special offers. Get your farm producing bigger amounts and supplying multiple outlets and you will rake in the profits!
Farming Simulator 17 launches next week on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with mod support across all platforms.
