Fallout 4 Ultra Spec PC Screenshots

2015-11-02_00006Fallout is just a week away, but screenshots and videos are already appearing online showing the game including these which were posted to NeoGAF by user RoboPlato.

RoboPlato claims the screenshots were taken on a high end rig, using an i7 and an Nvidia GTX 970, which sits nicely above the recommended specifications for ultra settings, and should give you a good idea of how the game will look (image compression aside).

The screens are probably from early on in the game considering they still wear the vault suit in many of them. They don’t give us much of an idea what to expect while traversing the wasteland, and graphically it doesn’t look anything special, but that’s not surprising as Bethesda tend to make their games run on a wide variety of machines, and with mods it won’t take long for the higher end systems to get their moneys worth graphically.

The recommended settings are as follows:

The recommended specs for Fallout 4 on PC are as follows:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 30 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent

Pretty reasonable right? My own system, which was ultra end until just over a year ago, should run this nicely at ultra settings. Minimum settings are quite nice too:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
  • Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 30 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent

Bethesda won’t be commenting on any leaked Fallout 4 material before launch, which isn’t anything new as they tend to avoid such discussions anyway.
