The book, which is being published by Dark Horse, is down for release by Bethesda for December 22nd, so it may be difficult to get before Christmas. Originally, Amazon had it listed for release on November 10th, the same day as the game, though that was changed soon after Bethesda’s announcement.
The book features “never-before-seen designs and concept art from the game’s dynamic environments, iconic characters, detailed weapons, and more — along with commentary from the developers themselves.”
It is somewhat disappointing that it isn’t releasing alongside the game, though Bethesda likely have little control as to how soon these can be printed. A cost of $40 seems to be a bit steep too, for something that traditionally gets tossed in with the collector editions of the titles.
