fathers falloutIf you happened to buy Fallout 4 for the Xbox One, you will have found a code in the box allowing you to download a free copy of Fallout 3. This is the Xbox 360 version, which will be playable via the backwards compatibility feature coming on November 12th.

It was pointed out via Gamespot however, that the code has an expiry date of February 8th, which is obviously the time that the deal ends. The code can take up to 10 days to be activated, but if you input the code before this date, you should be fine. Don’t put it on the long finger, and take 2 minutes out of your adventure to put in the code, or give it to a friend. Don’t let it go to waste.

fallout 4 fallout 3 offer expiry dateEven if you happen to miss out on the free code, Fallout 3 is relatively cheap to buy, digitally or through retail. It’s nice to have the option to jump between both games now that Fallout 4 is out. Who needs to leave the house ever again?
