That headline may seem vague at best, that’s because EA didn’t exactly announce a new Star Wars game in their E3 conference, but rather teased a few of them that we’ll most likely see next year. Among the developers working on the Star Wars IP are Respawn (Titanfall), Visceral Games (Dead Space) and DICE (Battlefront).
DICE is already working on a sequel to 2015’s Star Wars: Battlefront along with Motive Studios, it will feature content from the latest movie (The Force Awakens) and is set for release next year.
Visceral Games (creators of the Dead Space series) are currently working on an action-adventure game with an “original narrative set in the Star Wars universe with all-new characters”.
Finally, Respawn Entertainment (Developers of Titanfall) are working on a game that will feature “a different style of gameplay that takes place in a different timeline we have yet to explore with our EA Star Wars titles”.
In case you don’t feel like waiting a year to get your Star Wars fix, there’s also new content being produced for Battlefront, The Old Republic and Galaxy of Heroes.
