Dying Light The Following is out this week, which adds a new world to explore as well as vehicles, a story and much, much more. While the expansion is entirely optional for fans, a new update has gone live for the base game which improves the game’s graphics, AI and adds other free content.
It is reported on Reddit that the size of the console patches differ greatly, with the PlayStation 4 version requiring only 8gb of space, while the Xbox One version requires 17gb! That’s some difference, whatever the reason may be. If you’re looking forward to playing the updated version or the expansion, it’s probably best you start that installation soon!
A new trailer released today highlights the story as well as the enhanced graphics. For a game that came out one year ago, the support Dying Light has received from Techland as well as this massive expansion is hard not to celebrate!
“For the first time, you’ll go outside the quarantine zone only to get thrust into a hazardous outback overrun by the infected and populated by pockets of survivors who consider outsiders just as threating. With a region the size of all Dying Light maps combined, Dying Light: The Following is choke full of new environments, characters, quests, and secrets to discover.”
