One of the biggest, most surprising hits of 2015 has been Dying Light. This could easily be put down to its fantastic release date of February, when new game releases were rare, and gamers had something different to try while it was quiet. Now, you can check it out for free with a new demo!
Available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC the demo lets you experience a small portion of the game, set within the Slums area and guarantees you three hours of unique content, including one story quest chain and a number of side quests, challenges, and random encounters.
Within the demo, you will also experience the game’s day and night cycle, weapon crafting, parkour movements and be able to play online with the 4 player co-op functionality. If that doesn’t interest you in buying the game, then nothing will!
Producer Tymon Smektala said: “With the demand for Dying Light still high after more than half a year on the market, we wondered what else we could do to help players decide which game to buy. Then we thought: demoes were pretty much a standard in the previous generation, but suddenly they’ve become few and far between. So we decided to use some of our resources to release a demo now and let everyone experience our game first-hand.”
Now you have no excuse to avoid it. Give it a go, if you have about 10gb of hard drive space available, and enjoy something new!
