Dragon’s Dogma: Online Downloaded 1 Million Times in 10 Days

DragonsDogmaOnline1Capcom have announced in a press release that the free-to-play Dragon’s Dogma Online has already been downloaded 1 million times in 10 days despite only being available currently in Japan.

Capcom also noted that from these 1 million downloads, there are 370,000 characters created as of September 9th, and that number will only to grow as more players start playing.

Capcom have also launched the “three days adventure pass,” allowing players free access to the benefits of the optional adventure pass subscription for 72 hours free of charge, giving you a good idea of whether or not you’d like to invest in the subscription.

Whether or not the online version of Dragon’s Dogma will in fact be coming to the west is unknown, but with Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen releasing for PC on January 15th 2016 it is highly likely that it will come, with the re-release helping hook PC players ahead of the online release in the west.

With that, I really hope that they will include the original Dragon’s Dogma J-Rock theme for the PC version of Dark Arisen, which while nowhere near thematic to the actual game, absolutely brilliant all the same. You can listen to this eargasmic theme song below.

The wind is pushing meeeee, into the clouds again, I feel the blood in my veins!… I’ve just listened to it about 5 times in a row now.
