After the reveal of the DOOM box art, fans were less than impressed with the uninspired artwork, and made sure to make their voices heard. Bethesda listened, and have decided to include a reversible sleeve with the physical edition, and letting the community decide which image it should feature.
The vote is currently taking place on Twitter, with a poll open for 4 days. After that, the decision is made and you can choose to keep the original artwork on your box, or gently pull it out and insert it the other way around.

The two images can be seen below. As you can see, one of them is heavily inspired by the original DOOM artwork, and looks fantastic. So much in fact, that it has taken the lead in the voting polls so far with 69% of the votes so far. People don’t like change. Bethesda may as well choose both of the optional images and cut out the original design entirely. Make it an included poster inside the box? Which of the two box art designs would you like to see made available?
DOOM will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC from May 13th. Go to hell!
