Developers working on Nintendo Switch titles

nintendo switch logoAfter today’s exciting announcement of the Nintendo Switch, it’s time to get down to the nitty gritty details; who is going to support the handheld console hybrid? We’ve seen a few titles within the trailer itself such as Legend of Zelda and Splatoon, but what about third-party, non-Nintendo titles? Here’s a list of developers who are confirmed to be working on Nintendo Switch titles.

The list is rather impressive at this early stage, and is somewhat comforting considering how lacking previous Nintendo consoles have been with third-party support. With the likes of Activision, Capcom, EA, Epic Games and even Square Enix, we should be in for a treat with the number of new releases on the Nintendo Switch.

The only concern that one might have is that the trailer revealed the usage of cartridges. For titles that we’re all playing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it will be interesting to see how developers incorporate cartridges into their plans, or if digital releases will be able to work around that.
