After an earlier post updating you on today’s release of Destiny’s microtransaction-like emotes, they are now finally with us, and with that, a pricing system.
There are 18 new emotes available to purchase, each worth a different value. You can buy them from Tess at the Tower, just to the left of where you first spawn upon your arrival. You can buy these emotes using a new currency called Silver, which can only be obtained using real money. With the update, you are granted 400 Silver, but some of the more sought after emotes cost more than that.
As for the emotes, a Blue “rare” emote costs 200 Silver, while a purple “legendary” emote costs 500 Silver. There are only two Legendary emotes, and they are the Slow Clap, and the Fresh Prince of Bel-air dance, The Carlton. You will need to invest if you want one or both of these.
