Dead Space added to EA Access Vault

dead spaceEA have added their second backwards compatible Xbox 360 title to the EA Access Vault this week. Following the last update that added the original Plants vs Zombies tower defence title, that makes Dead Space the 18th free game in the Vault.

Unfortunately though, Dead Space is one of the games on offer with April’s Games with Gold initiative, meaning everyone with a Gold subscription can download and play it whenever they want. EA adding it to the Vault right now is kind of pointless for current players, but next month when the Games with Gold offer is in the past, it will be a better deal.

Dead Space is still a great game, which spawned a fantastic sequel and a not-so-spectacular third release that added co-op and microtransactions, much to the disappointment of fans. If you like sci-fi and third person RPG action, you will love this. Just bring some spare underwear.

The full list of EA Access Vault titles include:

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dead Space
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • EA Sports UFC
  • FIFA 14
  • FIFA 15
  • Madden NFL 15
  • Madden NFL 25
  • Madden NFL 16
  • NBA Live 15
  • Need for Speed: Rivals
  • NHL 15
  • NHL 16
  • Peggle 2
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Titanfall

We’ve seen quite a number of backwards compatibility titles come along recently, with more being added last week including Halo Wars and Left 4 Dead 2.
