Xbox Taiwan auctioned off a one of a kind Master Chief helmet to help out the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and raised over $34,000 for the charity!
The amount of work and skill which went into the creation of this thing is pretty crazy as you can probably tell, and you can see some of the process in the video uploaded by Xbox below.
The helmet weighs in at about 11 pounds, so it’s pretty heavy. It was sold on eBay for a huge $34,300 with 121 bids and all proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The helmet was encrusted with around about 25,000 Swarovski crystals, and sure does looks shiny! Big-ups to the talented designers, Taiwanese cosplayer Hsu Chia-Hao and Australian designer Jenny Manik Mercian.
While it’s a lot of money, no doubt the person who bought it has more than enough and will be incredibly happy to add this to their Halo collection!
As for Halo 5: Guardians, it’s hard to find anyone who isn’t loving the game! Matt has also been playing the game, and has given his impressions of the multiplayer here.
