Classic Star Wars games won’t be exclusive to PS4 bundles

star wars disney infinity 3.0Over the weekend, Sony revealed some special edition PlayStation 4 bundles making their way to the market this holiday. Both special editions will be graced with Star Wars designs, namely Darth Vader on your console, and a lovely themed Dualshock 4. It was also revealed that four classic Star Wars titles would be included as download codes, but these will be made available separately also.

You can see the console in the image below, looking rather sweet, and we imagine they’ll sell like hot cakes. The console comes in two bundles, one with Star Wars Battlefront, and the other with Disney Infinity 3.0. Both bundles include a 1TB hard drive, and four free classic games, which include Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Star Wars: Jedi StarFighter and Star Wars: Racer Revenge.

“Yes – you’ll be able to buy the four games separately on PS Store,” Sony’s Sid Shuman said on the US version of the PlayStation Blog. “They’ll have Trophy support, too.”

Both the Battlefront and Disney Infinity bundles will hit the market on November 17th. Sony have stated that there are also no plans to release the controller as a standalone product, so if you really, really want it, you may need to splash out on one of the bundles.
