As if the list of known games releasing before Christmas wasn’t enough, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare gets announced. Previously released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, the game will now be releasing on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a first person online multiplayer game, that doesn’t make use of guns. No, as you can gather, it features swords, axes, bows and other bladed goodies from back in the day before we had a SNES, PlayStation or Atari.
Medieval, the game developed Torn Banner Studios title features 24 player online multiplayer, with over 25 maps to fight over, dedicated server support, and a horde mode for teams of up to six. The game will be available to download for $20 and there will also be a Gold Edition, which includes the Barbarian Character Pack, Marauding Arbiter Pack, Inquisitive Dreadnaught Bundle and Barbarian Weapon Pack.
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare released on pc in 2012, and later appeared on last gen consoles, feeling a little empty and underpowered.
“So go! Tell your console-peasant* friends that Chivalry will soon be raiding and pillaging their lives… See you all on the battlefield!
*We mean this in the nicest possible way.” – says the game’s website alongside the announcement. At least they’re staying in line with the times, eh? 😉 Chivalry: Medieval Warfare will release on December 1st.
