A lot of controversy has surrounded this game ever since the plans to turn it into a “DLC hub” emerged, the game has been with us for a few days now and sales have most definitely been affected by the radical plans. Regardless I (Matt) decided to give it a chance after being impressed with what I saw on some Twitch streams, frankly the games concept is very appealing to me probably because of how unique it is.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is the third iteration of the 5 series, which launched back in 2012. Following the Vita version called Plus, and then Ultimate in 2013, Last Round is almost like a Game of the Year version, including all characters, plus new ones, all stages, plus new ones, and many of the previously released character outfits, which the series is well known for. When The PlayStation TV launched Europe it got very mixed reviews. I got my hands on one on Day 1 and thought I’d share my initial opinion on it. As a quick disclaimer this will not be dealing in detail with PS4 streaming as my own internet connection is not sufficient to give a fair reflection of the capabilities.
