Stainless Games have announced that a new take on Carmageddon will be making its way to consoles and PC. Max Damage can be taken as a console version of last year’s Kickstarter funded Carmageddon: Reincarnation.
Carmageddon: Max Damage will include over 30 cars, 10 environments and the traditional Carmageddon feature of moving targets, splashes of blood and hopefully a few screams for good measure. The series has always been controversial, and this new version doesn’t try to disappoint. From the short trailer, you can see people on mobility scooters, in wheelchairs, on bikes and on foot all suffering a gruesome fate at the hands of high speed cars, vans and trucks. Expect to see the game hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC in the middle of 2016.
“We hope you’re as excited as us at the prospect of Carmageddon reaching a wider audience through console, and even better, when Carmageddon: Max Damage is released on PC you will automatically get it too. Yes, that’s another Carmageddon in your Steam library – for free!” said the Kickstarter email that was sent to supporting fans.
