Continuing the trend that started with Call of Duty World at War, it seems that Infinity Ward are going to be adding a Zombies mode into the upcoming Infinite Warfare. Space zombies. Check out the new trailer, along with the cast, which is certainly…colourful.
Introducing, Zombies in Spaceland. Play as one of four classic 1980s archetypes in a radical, action-packed journey with an all-new ‘80s setting and a most excellent soundtrack from the era. David Hasselhoff also features as the voice over in Spaceland, because cameos are always important for any game’s success!
Perhaps it took inspiration from Far Cry: Blood Dragon with its 80s style setting and neon glows, but it’s all very neon and retro looking, with disco balls, lasers and boom boxes.
“Zombies in Spaceland tells the story of four aspiring actors who come upon a mysterious movie theater for an audition. They’ve been invited by director Willard Wyler, portrayed with voice and likeness by Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Gotham), who was once the shining star of the horror genre. Unbeknownst to the actors, they will be transformed into the movie characters onscreen and transported straight into Wyler’s film to fight against an all-new variety of zombies in an ‘80s theme park.”
The characters are voiced by a comedic ensemble cast, including Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers in Goldmember), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors, Suicide Squad), Jay Pharoah (Saturday Night Live, Ride Along) and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer).
