The cinematic launch trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is now live, but unfortunately, there isn’t much that you haven’t seen already. The story trailer from last month gave a greater idea of what is actually going on, and this video is almost like a summarized version.
Infinite Warfare takes us into space, and introduces space combat in fighters. Expect some zero gravity battles on foot too, which certainly looks very interesting and fresh for the long-running series. Infinite Warfare will also feature Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Conor McGregor of UFC fame, although both are antagonists, so don’t expect any friendly hugs and fist bumps.
Of course, if you pre-order the game, you could be playing the beta as of this week on PlayStation 4, with the beta due to hit the Xbox One soon. Pre-ordering the pricier editions of the game also nets you Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered, which features a gorgeous looking remaster of the excellent campaign as well as the ground-breaking multiplayer suite which changed the face of competitive shooters.
Infinite Warfare delivers three unique game modes: Campaign returns to the gritty, large-scale war roots of the franchise, while boldly looking ahead. Multiplayer delivers the future of warfare, with many new gameplay innovations. And the cooperative Zombies mode takes players on a wild ride through a new storyline with unique gameplay features and mechanics.
It’s also worth reminding you that if you’re playing on PlayStation 4, you can take advantage of an exclusive PSVR mission that sees you dog fighting in space.
Call of Duty Infinite Warfare has a release date of November 4th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
