Good news for Kingdom Hearts fans as Disney and Square Enix announce that the upcoming sequel will feature a Big Hero 6 world. The world will include the San Fransokyo setting, Baymax and many other characters from the Big Hero 6 movie.
“Big Hero 6 is such a special film for me,” said film producer Ray Conli, “and we always made sure that each action sequence had a very special meaning. The themes in Kingdom Hearts and Big Hero 6 match very well. For instance there’s friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness.”
The events of the Big Hero 6 story will continue as Baymax join’s Sora, Donald and Goofy’s adventure in Kingdom Hearts III. Exact details of storylines have not yet been revealed.
The announcement of Kingdom Hearts III was one of the highlights of the E3 conference for me and this is welcome news. I am really looking forward to seeing what other worlds we’ll get to visit with Sora and co.
The upcoming RPG by Tetsuya Nomura has no release date as of yet, but to sate your appetite till then have another look at the trailer from E3.
